Description
DI-LPG / DI-LPB Lacquer Primer is a premium quality lacquer primer for use in automotive applications. It is formulated with the highest quality resins. When used with the proper Zero VOC Reducer or Acetone, it is compliant with the national V.O.C. requirements.
MIX RATIO: ►1 Part DI-LPG / LPB Lacquer Primer Grey / Black ►1 Part Zero VOC Reducer or Acetone GUN SETUP: ►Conventional Gravity 1.6mm -1.8mm 40-45 psi @ gun ►Siphon 1.6mm -1.8mm 40-45 psi @ gun ►HVLP gravity 1.6mm -1.8mm 8-10 psi @ gun SURFACE PREPARATION: Wash area with soap and warm water. Thoroughly clean area with Wax and Grease Remover. Sand area according to body filler manufacturer’s recommendations. Reclean with Wax & Grease Remover
APPLICATION: Apply 2-3 full wet coats of DI-LPG / LPB Lacquer PrimerGrey / Black using a good quality spray gun with a 1.6 to 1.8 tip. Allow a minimum of 5-10 minutes flash time between coats. Allow 30 minutes @ 70°F (21°C) air dry before sanding. SANDING: Allow DI-LPG / LPB Lacquer Primer Grey / Black to thoroughly dry before sanding. Sand primer surfacer with 180-220 grit sandpaper. If applying a sealer over the primer surfacer, finish sand with 320-400 grit sandpaper. (If applying topcoat directly over the DI-LPG / LPB Lacquer Primer Grey / Black finish sand with 400-500 grit sandpaper when applying basecoat and 320-400 grit sandpaper for single-stage system.)
