3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Heavy Cutting Compound (36103) is a fast-cutting, first-step compound formulated for marine gelcoat and fiberglass surfaces — boats, yachts, and RVs. It removes heavy oxidation, chalking, and P800-and-finer sand scratches, restoring gloss to weathered, sun-faded gelcoat.
Best for: heavily oxidized or dull marine gelcoat that needs an aggressive first cut before polishing. Not intended for: automotive clear-coat finishing. For auto refinish, use the automotive Perfect-It line instead.
