Surface Preparation & When to Apply
Apply GLOBAL 5000 directly over the basecoat after a 15–20 minute flash-off (after solvent evaporation), following the basecoat manufacturer’s process.
Important: Humidity affects clearcoat components — ensure the application equipment is absolutely dry and close the hardener container immediately after use.
Mixing & Spray Application (Standard – G5005)
Mix as a 2:1 system (clearcoat : hardener). If you are mixing by weight, follow the 100 : 49.5 ratio indicated for G5005.
