Symplex® Finesse is an automotive primer polish formulated to prime surfaces for receiving ceramic, graphene, or other top final coatings. It is designed to optimize coating adhesion and overall coating performance, helping create an extreme shine finish and long-lasting protection when used as part of the coating process.
Why Use Finesse Primer Silica Polish Before Coatings
Enhanced coating adhesion: improves the bond between the surface and applied coatings (especially Silex ceramics).
Perfect prime finish: premium, gentle abrasives prepare the surface for ceramic/graphene/top coatings.
Imperfection & hologram removal: removes final imperfections and holograms caused by cutting pads.
Easy application: formulated for user-friendly application with a smooth, even finish.
Technology & Composition
Unique blend of Silica-Tech Quartz, high gloss resins, and premium, gentle abrasives.
Built upon Symplex’s experience with high-end Aluminum Oxide and the latest Diminishing Abrasive Technology.
Advanced formulation blended at a microscopic level to remove final imperfections and cutting-pad holograms, delivering a high-gloss depth finish.
Application Instructions
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of loose contaminants.
Use Symplex’s Look See Control Cleaner to remove dust, polishing oils, and compound residue to reveal true paint condition, defects, and color sanding marks after paint buffing.
Application method: Can be applied with a machine polisher (DA or Rotary).
Machine (DA/Rotary): Use a soft finishing pad. Apply 2–3 pea-sized drops to the pad.
Work the product into the surface in overlapping passes with moderate to light pressure.
Buffing: After application, allow a short haze to form. Buff off residue with a clean, soft microfiber towel.
Inspection: Inspect the surface for remaining imperfections and repeat application if necessary.
Coating application: Remove all Finesse residue with a clean microfiber towel and immediately apply the desired ceramic/graphene/top coating according to the coating manufacturer’s instructions.
