RUPES XC-2 Xtra Cut Compound (9.XC2)

XC-2 Xtra Cut Compound is a heavy-cut polishing compound formulated for rapid defect removal on gelcoat and other high-solid industrial finishes, including countertops, hard paint, and applications in the aviation industry. RUPES states it is universally compatible with all machine movement types, including dual action and rotary polishers.

How to Use (Workflow)

1. Choose your machine movement (XC-2 is listed as compatible with all movement types, including dual action and rotary).
2. Select the pad system based on your goal: TWISTED wool (9.BL…H) for maximum material removal, CUT&FINISH wool (9.BL…F) for fast correction with a superior finish, or D-A COARSE wool (9.BW…H) / D-A COARSE microfiber extreme cut (9.MF…H) for the listed surface types.
3. Use XC-2 as a first step after sanding when needed, or to remove oxidation and other contaminants.
4. Wipe off residue and inspect results; repeat as needed to achieve the desired correction.
